The Honeywell Center Educational Outreach Program provides curriculum-based arts-in-education experiences for students in the Honeywell Center’s twelve-county footprint. Our goal is to collaborate with educators to produce 21st century learners who are better prepared for the world ahead!
| By participating in our programs, students will be introduced to the arts in ways such as: | |
| • Experiencing new art forms like opera and sculpture • Comparing musical notes to mathematical fractions • Meeting artists and performers from around the globe • Writing songs and creating poems • Trying out non-traditional visual arts processes • Hearing our artists background stories • Learning how to make the arts a career • Seeing a book they read come to life on stage • Watching a story they wrote performed by actors • And so much more! |
| No matter what the child experiences when involved in a Honeywell Center Educational Outreach Program workshop, assembly, or student matinee, they will walk away knowing the world is a bigger place than they imagined with so many more options! | |
