Educational Outreach

The Honeywell Center Educational Outreach Program provides curriculum-based arts-in-education experiences for students in the Honeywell Center’s twelve-county footprint. Our goal is to collaborate with educators to produce 21st century learners who are better prepared for the world ahead!

By participating in our programs, students will be introduced to the arts in ways such as:
	• Experiencing new art forms like opera and sculpture • Comparing musical notes to mathematical fractions • Meeting artists and performers from around the globe • Writing songs and creating poems • Trying out non-traditional visual arts processes • Hearing our artists background stories • Learning how to make the arts a career • Seeing a book they read come to life on stage • Watching a story they wrote performed by actors • And so much more!
No matter what the child experiences when involved in a Honeywell Center Educational Outreach Program workshop, assembly, or student matinee, they will walk away knowing the world is a bigger place than they imagined with so many more options!
