Are you a great communicator? We’re seeking a personable, professional, and talented writer/speaker/presenter for the position of Development Communications and Appeals Officer. This position provides the opportunity to work in the fun and exciting environment of arts and entertainment! You’ll enjoy a variety of responsibilities and settings – one day you may be creating written materials in a typical office atmosphere and the next you might be meeting new people and building relationships at community events! You’ll work closely with a talented development team to manage a variety of fundraising appeal strategies and meet with donors and other stakeholders. You’ll be a key player in enhancing and presenting the image of the Honeywell Foundation by creating written materials, seeking out new communication opportunities and serving as a public relations representative. This is a full time position that may require some evening and weekend hours. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Knowledge and experience with marketing is a plus. The Honeywell Foundation is a non-profit arts organization that owns and operates the Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, and Eagles Theatre.
